Bio

Sapna received her bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering, from Nagoya University in 2016. She worked on 2D materials (hBN, MoS2, graphene, black phosphorus) during her undergraduate years and finished her research thesis on investigation of electrical properties and inducing band gap in strained graphene on step-SiC substrate, under the guidance of Prof. Kusunoki, in collaboration with Prof. Shinohara and Prof. Kitaura at Nagoya University. She is now working on low dimensional materials - studying their properties, synthesis and application.
