Research Interests
1. Synthesis of 2D transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), e.g. MoS2, and TMDs-based van der Waals heterostructures using chemical vapour deposition;
2. Characterization of morphological, vibrational and optical properties of TMDs and heterostructures;
3. Investigation on the atomic level structure of 2D TMDs and its vertical heterostructures, including defects, stacking and crack behavior, by using transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM).
